The Details

When you board Soteria, you don’t just board a traditional sailing vessel you enter an entirely new world, new words for everything from the toilet (head) to the kitchen (galley) bombard you and with the help of the professional crew you will quickly become familiar with nautical terminology and the equipment essential to operating the vessel.

On your arrival the mate will show you to your berths, and then guide you through the ship introducing you to shipboard life and showing you the essentials such as the safety equipment and use of the heads!

Whether a member of the charter party or part of the full time crew you will become part of one team whilst aboard Soteria. The mate will allocate everyone to a watch as the ship operates through day and night. You will be part of the night watches where overnight passages are being

All meals are included whilst at sea, as there aren’t many other options! However main meals are eaten ashore when it's convenient and these are not included.

Logbooks
For those seeking to gain RYA/MCA certification, bring along your personal logbook, so the Captain can enter your participation and sign it off for you.
