Our villas are mostly located in the Canton de Fayence but we also have an apartment in Cannes and a house on a secure domain in Juan-les-Pins.
The Canton of Fayence is a beautiful area of Provence separated from the Cote d’Azur by the wild and natural Esterel National Park. It includes a chain of medieval hilltop villages, Montauroux, Callian, Tourrettes, Fayence and Seillans and the famous Lake St Cassien, which is renowned for its fishing and watersports. On the shores of the lake there are equipment rental sites, picnic areas and restaurants.
The villages, as well as being very picturesque, have colourful markets and many cultural events are held in the local churches and squares. The whole region provides something for everyone, magnificent walking, horse riding, sailing, tennis clubs, windsurfing or shopping. It also provides the opportunity to play golf at the famous Four Seasons International Golf Centre in Tourettes or go for a trip in a glider from the Fayence Gliding Centre.
Slightly further afield and inland there is the magnificent Gorge du Verdon and the lesser-known villages of the Haut Var.
Cannes is home to various well-known festivals and events but throughout the year there are wonderful open and closed markets, art galleries, museums, exhibitions of local art, antique markets and musicians playing along the Croissette. Cannes is also famous for its miles of golden beaches and a great choice of restaurants, many of them bordering the colourful Old Port. Above the port, towers Le Suquet, the original ancient fishing village of Cannes, from where you can wander the narrow lanes and enjoy magnificent views over the bay of Cannes and the Corniche d’Or to the West.
Juan-les-Pins is a seaside town within the commune of Antibes and is famous for its annual jazz festival throughout the whole of July. The town’s sister city is New Orleans where, each year until recently, saw carnival festivities with both local and New Orleans jazz bands parading in the streets. It is a major holiday destination with casinos, nightclubs and excellent sandy beaches. There is also a large Bridge tournament organised every year in early spring.
